Bike Hire

If you don't want to bring your bike on holiday, it is possible to hire bikes from the local sports shops in Mayrhofen.

To hire a town bike, suitable for use on the roads and flat paths in the valley, the prices start from €10 per day.

A hard tail mountain bike, with front suspension and Shimano LX groupset, suitable for cross country, trail riding and touring, costs approx €15 per day.

Unfortunately, downhill & road bikes can not be hired in the valley, at this present time.

If you do wish to bring your own bike, most airlines allow them in the hold of the aircraft, in a bike bag or box. Check with the airline if there is a small charge. These bike bags & boxes can be hired from your local bike shop or, if you plan to travel with your bike regularly, it may be worth investing in your own carrier.
