Ski Touring and Snowboard Hiking

A great way to access the backcountry for the best off piste snow is to ditch your lift pass, fit your touring skins or snow shoes and take a hike up the mountain.

With every type of backcountry to suit every level, it's a great opportunity to improve your powder skiing and see some unspoilt mountain views.

Whatever your skill level, we recommend hiring a mountain guide and carrying all the necessary safety equipment. Also, observe the avalanche warnings at the ski lifts and, if you have time, participate in an Avalanche Training Course.
