WINTER IN MAYRHOFEN

The Penken area contains the Vans Snow Park, one of the biggest and best in Europe. With a wide choice of restaurants and mountain huts. The Ahorn is a small resort but offers an ideal area for beginners or for your first day. Once you have found your ski legs, tackle the Ahorn 6.5km Abfahrt back to the village.

With other activites as ski touring or snowboard hiking. Snowshoeing, x-country sking, when the snows are right. Kaltenbach has a night sking, snowboarding possibilities with its Stephan Eberharter Gold Run. There a number of rodelling tracks, Haizenberg offering a 6.5km floodlight run.
